BBS Race Engine Development Displays Strength at 2014 RoboPong 200

This year’s edition of the Robo-Pong 200 Presented by Bridgestone was an extremely successful outing for BBS Race Engine Development.  With a field of just over 40 entries, BBS powered five teams through the grueling race weekend. BBS Race Engine Development congratulates Team Simpson (Jimmy Simpson and Brandon Newey) for the big win at this year’s event after several years of trying and coming so close on multiple occasions.  Also a big shout-out to the most dominant performers of the race, Checkered Motorsports/PCR USA (Andrew and Robert Bujdoso) who led over 116 laps of the 200 lap race until an unfortunate chassis component failure ended their run while leading with just 10 laps remaining.  As the event concluded, it was BBS engines on top with Simpson/Newey and young guns, Checkered Motorsports/PCR USA #2’s Ryan Norberg and Sasha Brun-Wibaux coming in third to round out the podium.
