ROK CUP Western Canada: It’s the Final Countdown
With just over a week to go the ROK CUP Western Canada is preparing for what should be a great finale to an exciting season. Greg Moore Raceway has been hosting several major events over the past few weeks and this one will close them all out, as a series Champion will be crowned as well as the grand prize will be awarded for the World Finals Spots in Lonato Italy.
Chris Eagles (Racelab/FK) is going into the final round as the series points leader with PSL West’s Jordan Redlin (CRG) chasing closely with hopes of capturing the title. All season long we have seen several contenders battle for the top spot including: Bob Wakeling, Davey Lam, Mario Alfrieder and Kris Hoffbeck who is coming off of a couple of strong events at the recent WCC and CANAM Pro Kart Challenge at GMR. With all of these names on the track spectators will be treated to some exciting racing like only a series finale can offer.
Racing will take place both Saturday and Sunday so be sure to come out to GMR to join in some of the racing action. For more information visit rokcup.ca
