PCR Victorious in Rok Cup and F-Series

Checkered Motorsports logoCheckered Motorsports continues to turn heads with the PCR karts throughout the U.S. After a dominate performance in first round of the Gear Up Challenge and the Rok Cup Series  it was no difference for round two.  The PCR karts displayed speed of the technical tracks of Homestead and Englishtown.  The PCR chassis concluded the weekend with a pair of wins between the two series.

AJ Myers was flawless in the Rok Cup Series in his GP Rok Shifter class.  Myers was the driver to beat throughout the weekend.  He clinched pole position by .724 tenths over Jesus Rios Jr.  From there he swept the field winning all three of his heats and the main event.

In Rok Masters Francois Brun Wi-Baux put his PCR in the fourth spot in qualifying.  In the main event Francois would get shuffled back to the seventh position.  The master’s pilot diced his way through the field finishing in fourth and setting the second fastest time on track.

The competitive Rok Jr. field featured Sasha Brun Wi-Baux in her PCR Super Strillo chassis.  The young 14 year old made progress throughout the weekend and finished the weekend off in the sixth spot.  Austin Jordan in Rok Senior ended his weekend with a solid fourth place finish.

Chris Guimarra once again showed that he was the driver to beat in the Formula 125 class.  After winning Rd. 1 of the Gear Up Challenge his results were no different at Englishtown.  The wet weather called for some close racing, but in the end Guimarra clinched another victory for the team.

Andrew Bujdoso and Nolan Ruocco would not have much luck go their way. Bujdoso would qualify fourth in his PCR kart.  Unfortunately, the heat races would not go in his favor where his best finish was only second.  Ruocco was quick all weekend, but the combination of electrical issues and on track incidents prohibited him for another victory.

Checkered Motorsports owner Csaba Bujdos states, “The wet weather did not stop us from keeping the karts up front.  It was another good weekend for the team and PCR.  I cannot thank our PCR drivers in Florida for their performance.”

Checkered Motorsports are competing in the WKA Manufacturers Cup Series, USPKS, GearUp F-Series, SKUSA, in addition to the Alleghany Karting Series.  Transportation,  arrive and drive opportunities, and tech support is available.  For questions and dealer inquires contact Csaba Bujdoso:
