Comet Racing Engines logoIt was another successful race season with the six race Florida Winter Tour Formula Kart series for Indianapolis based Comet Racing Engines.

The Top Kart USA duo of David Malukas and Zach Holden were extremely fast in their first full season of Junior racing, each taking wins and numerous podiums all season long to end up 1st and 2nd in the TaG Junior championship with their Comet IAME engines!

Birel racers Matt Solarczyk and Nicholas Brueckner also were in the hunt each weekend with their Comet IAME engines with Solarczyk ending up 4th in the Junior TaG championship and Brueckner in 6th while also capturing a race win this season!

Mike Giessen had numerous podiums in the TaG Senior class on his I-Kart with a Comet Leopard ending the season 4th in points with Dustin Stross on a Comet Leopard 6th in points.

Brandon Jenkins from Comet Racing Engines summed up the season, “This was the first time we came here to support the entire series for our engine customers and I couldn’t be happier with how things ended up. To win the TaG Junior championship and capturing numerous race wins against this level of competition continues to show how good our engine program is.”

The season is just getting underway and Comet Racing Engines will be at numerous races this year to support their customers including USPKS, WKA Manufacturers Cup and select SKUSA events. For more information about Comet Racing Engines please visit their website or call 317-462-3413.
