Miller Motorsports Park Provides More Event Details and Awards for Rotax Summer Shootout
Two Rotax Challenge of the America race winners receive free entry to the event
With the annual Rotax Summer Shootout set to take place June 27-29 at the famed Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah, track officials continue to add to the event. With online event registration and pit and garage reservations now open and partner hotels confirmed, the event is continuing to take shape. Dubbed as the “Unofficial Tune-Up” for the Rotax MAX Challenge United States Grand Nationals, Miller Motorsports Park officials sweetened the pot for two deserving race winners from this past weekend’s Rotax Challenge of the Americas event in Sonoma, California.
“We are pleased to offer free entry to Rotax Junior race winner Austin Versteeg and Senior Max Winner Phillip Arscott for their race winning performances on Sunday of this past weekend’s Challenge of the Americas event,” explained Miller Motorsports Park’s Justin Bloxham. “With their award, they will receive free practice and race entry to the Rotax Summer Shootout, approximately $200 in savings.”
MAXSpeed Group’s Josh Smith added, “The staff at Miller Motorsports Park have been instrumental in securing awards and finalizing details for the annual Rotax Summer Shootout. They stepped up and offered Sunday’s Junior and Senior race winners with free entry to the event and both happen to be part of Team USA for the 2014 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals.”
