Official CKI Florida Cup Round 1 Discussion

This weekend is the debut of the new CKI Florida Cup at the Homestead Karting facility. A number of competitors are in the Miami area from around the world to compete in the seven divisions. Things will get underway with official practice on Friday followed by two days of racing.

Good morning everyone from sunny Homestead, FL. This is Mykala from the CKI team and I will be posting updates throughout the weekend. Today is track operated practice. The official practice begins bright and early tomorrow morning and we will start posting times just after 1:30 pm local time. CKI live be posting updates on www.championshipkartracing.com starting on Saturday. We are looking forward to an exciting event on this wonderful weekend here in sunny Florida.

The preview provided by CKI has some names that will be competing however we were not able to attend a provisional entry list. When practice begins tomorrow, I believe they will have a breakdown of entries per class along with results posted from the final few sessions, as Mykala stated.

We were going to head down but ended up not being able to. We'll be there for the rest of the upcoming events. Wondering how strong the KF classes will turn out.

Good morning EKN Audience. Karts have just taken the track for Official Practice. CKI will start timing at 1:30pm Eastern Time and will post top-5 here for each class.

I am working on getting times posted for everyone. As well as getting the live timing and scoring up and running on www.championshipkartracing.com. However, So far it has been a great day here in Florida. The weather is an amazing 79 degrees and the track seems to be setting in for a great weekend. There is definitely more to come here in Florida.
