Guys! Thank you for all the help you gave me on the clone engines.

I finally removed the governor asy. It was a lot easier than I thought!
Now that little engine screams!!!!!

I was a little carefull so that I wouldn't make any costly mistakes, but now that I know how, I can do it all day long!!!!! Just for fun I should just time myself on the next engine and see how long it takes me Very Happy

Anyhow! Thank you guys for all your support
God bless you all Wink

Hi Gabriel,

To remove the governor you'll need to open the side cover and remove all the components, not just disconnect the levers on the outside. If you leave the parts inside they'll eventually come loose and cause major problems.

Also you should decide how high you'll rev the motor before you do it since many of the stock parts will fail at higher RPM, most notably the connecting rod (complete engine failure) and the flywheel (possibly even worse).

You can find a write-up on it here:

Good luck,

Hi, Gabriel
I don't know if you noticed or not, but I sent you a PM with all the instructions in how to do it
Step by step, and how to go back together also
Please check your mail box

P.S. An aftermarket throttle kit will make things easier on you, and more safe (it's nice to know that when you're at full throttle, the gas pedal will return)
Welcome to the sport, I hope you have blessing time and lots of joy.

It eliminates the stove top mounting plate that can create vapor locks on the clone fuel pumps. ChainDragGONE offers a complete throttle kit with all necessary parts to maximize your throttle cable efficiency for the clone. The nice feature of the Reel systen is the throttle cable end remains on the cable for quick engine changes, Clone to a Animal, FH with out having to change any clevis lengths and 1 bolt to change the cable from engine to engine. Go to www.chaindraggone.net and click on products. DragGone
