|
|
Over the eight year history of Super Kart Illustrated Magazine, publisher Rob Howden and his staff produced a long list of OnTrack and Chassis Test articles that gave much insight into the karts that were in competition. With the departure of the magazine from the scene, the program is making its debut on EKN, beginning what will be a regular addition to the site’s editorial.
For the next portion of the segment, we looked to the First Kart chassis imported by Tony Venstresca and his First Kart North America out of the Toronto area. EKN News Desk Manager David Cole donned his equipment, hitting the track at Grattan Raceway in Western Michigan this past July. Along with his OnTrack report on the chassis and the outing itself, we’re also going to take the opportunity to introduce the EKN readership to Tony Venstresca and his First Kart North America operation, as we will be future OnTrack segments.

Please post any questions you have regarding First Kart North America or the First Kart chassis test. _________________ David Cole

Thanks all. Driving the First Kart was a great experience. After a couple of sessions, it was easy to get adjusted to the way it handles. The kart got many lookers at the road racing events. As always, Tony and the whole First Kart squad was great to work with.
Yes, our next edition will be the Top Kart from Rock Island Grand Prix. _________________ David Cole

You have to write a J3 competition/Kosmic article. I feel so alone.... nobody except me and a couple other have one. SPREAD THE WORD!!!!!
A MRP Birel one would be nice also... |

Who is providing parts / support for existing First Karts here in the USA now, we run one in 125 shifter road race but are in need for some parts.
Search for First Kart.com or First Kart USA seems to turn up everything but First Karts? _________________ Australian American Racing

Contact your local Birel dealer, as I believe Freeline parts will work with the First Kart, which is now manufactured by Birel. _________________ David Cole
