Did you expect something different, Rob? Like the thread in Feedback complaining about the ads, there are people who just expect EKN to be here and do everything they need, at no cost to them. Few people realize what goes on and has gone on to provide a site like this and they have no idea what a risky business proposition in-person event coverage is. It is a huge expense targeted to a very small group of people.
Rob is one of the very few people in this 'sport' (I hate that term almost as much as 'industry') who has the ability to substantially affect the direction and viability of karting. Instead of acting like circling sharks, which is why this writer has exited, I suggest everyone support the people who bring business and legitimacy to an activity that still remains a fractured, fringe enthusiast activity.
