Hi guys,

I moved to TN and can't easily find a local VP dealer, or even a place to get Sunoco 110. I did, however, find that the Shell station about 3 miles away carries Turbo Blue fuels: their unleaded race fuel at 100 octane, and the Turbo Blue 110.

Does anyone use these fuels? I'm running a CR125 mod and exclusively now for autox (another consequence of moving here). I'll be out of my VP c12 after this weekend, so I need a source. I'll try the Turbo Blue 110 if no one has anything negative to say about it.

Thanks, Scott

My impression is that the 110 racing fuels seem to be pretty consistent, brand to brand. Most of the long tracks out here (CA) sell 110 at the pump, various brands, and I haven't heard any issues from the road racers. 110 is very popular with stock car/circle track motors, hence it is widely available (and, an lot cheaper than MS98!)

I'd stay away if you can, it sits in underground tanks for who knows how long. I used it initally because it was easy but attributed some of my initial motor issues to it. I'd look for CAM2 or call up some local moto shops. Some have smaller above ground tanks of Torco 110 or the like. I buy my race gas from an animal feed store of all places. Baby animals, bulk feed and high octane racing fuel, kinda weird but it's awesome stuff.

Thanks, guys. It looks like my only two options around here are pump options and both appear to be the Turbo Blue 110, so I'll try that and hope for the best. The turnover seems to be relatively high, but I'll be careful using it. Maybe I'll get some molecular sieves to dry it in my can. Anything else I can do to it, Christian?

Bristol does sell some out of their own pumps, but only during their events. It would be the next option to try.
