Rose Cup SCCA combined event @ Portland International

Friday June 14 move in
Sat June 15 Practice session, Qualifying session
Sun June 16 Pre final, Main event

$85.00 total entry fee for this event.
All senior classes, rolling start, one large group. This event was successfully ran in the past with karts putting on a great show in front of a large crowd of spectators. A cheap and relaxing karting event for all plus big cars and displays to look at.

Please contact John Sullivan at j2sullivan@comcast.net for more information.

It was pretty cool the last time we did it with all the people walking around asking questions and taking pictures. Signed a few autographs, Penske came by for a while drank all my whiskey.

What are all the classes we can run with the stock moto format for the nationals? Since we are new to this class, I have no idea which is stock, or what is modified. Which ones allow farings, which ones are CIK. How many for this event also?
Thanks
Randy

Here's your schedule for the nats and what classes are for stock moto. This was the schedule I found on the PKA site which should still be correct.

Keep in mind when looking below that Formula 125 Ltd., Formula 125 Ltd Heavy and Formula 125 are all open motor classes but you can run stock in them. A person with a stock package can stay very busy.

Day One Thursday September 19th

Race 2
Yamaha KT100S Light
TAG Heavy
Race 3

Rotax Classic
Race 4
IKF Briggs World Formula Super Heavy
Yamaha Ltd. Heavy Sprint
Race 5
Formula Kart Exp. FKE1

Day Two Friday September 20th

Race 1
125cc-150cc Open/FKEII
Formula 125 Ltd. Heavy(420 LBS open fairing, open motor 125)
Race 2
IKF Briggs World Formula Heavy
Race 3
Inter-Continental-E
Super Stock CR125(400 LBS open fairing)
Race 4
TAG JR
Tag Light
Sprint Stock 125(385 LBS CIK fairing, Yellow MG, Spec gear ratio, no experts)
Race 5
Yamaha KT100S Heavy
Tag Enduro

Day Three Saturday September 21st

Race 1

You Da Man! We will see what we can afford. Smile My Daughter graduates on Monday the 17th from University of Oregon, so we will be in the neighborhood, why not race the SCCA event.

Perfect.. Just make sure you tell me what class structure your going to setup for so were all on the same page. I think we might setup for the SWRA 385 lbs cik bodywork class just to be different.

Chris,
How do you determine an expert?
People tell me your an expert 'Jackass', does this mean you can't enter?
I'll stick up for you buddy.

No I can't enter. Crying or Very sad I don't know why, I'm old, ugly, slow and not very bright. Most nights I speak with a slur and can't find my ass with either hand. I can make a nice drink though and I got all you guys for friends so I must be doing something kinda right... or are you using me for my hidden talents? Are you using me for my sweet sweet body? Embarassed This ass isn't cheap ya know, a girl's got standards ya know.

Randy, I forgot to mention I think you will see 30 or more at the IKF rr nationals in stock moto. The class is always growing especially with the no expert spec class drawing new people from the short tracks.

Chris. I retired from work and karting and moved to Coeur D'Alene Idaho. Have experience working races with the Southern Kart Club. Do you need any help?
