Registration and all event information in now available at WWW.TCGP.NET

A BIG thank you goes out to Reaper Industries and Atomic Karting/Intrepid Kart Technology for stepping up as title sponsors and helping Tri-C Karters make this highly anticipated race a reality.

Tri-C Karters of Southern California has worked hard to bring this exciting race to the karting community while keeping it relatively affordable for a race at this venue. Friday practice and two full days of racing are scheduled on a track that will utilize the infield course of Auto Club Speedway in Fontana California. The karter designed course is 1.91 miles long with 22 turns and has a 2270 foot front straight. The back section of the track incorporates large scale sprint track elements and the long front straight will allow karters to utilize drafting strategies not possible with typical sprint track racing. See the track design and a video of a track test session on the event web site.

We have already received interest and entries from Nevada, Arizona and Northern California. As anticipated this race is turning into a truly regional event and we are sure to see racers coming from outside the region as well. In that vain we formally extend an invite to the entire karting community. So come join us in June for a sunny Southern California racing weekend and maybe after you win you can go to Disneyland, heck go ahead and go even if you don't win. Very Happy

Comer and Mini Rok have just been added to the class list to give Jr. drivers some additional options.

We have received a lot of positive feedback, excitement and support so far. Interesting enough the biggest class right now is World Formula. For a race that is still two and a half months away, we have a good amount of entries in other classes as well including a couple of Super Kart entries. So get all your karting buddies together and get registered. Registration is open at WWW.TCGP.NET

Remember Tri-C is a club run by a bunch of volunteers for the love of the sport. We want to make this event successful and fun for all so we can keep doing it every year. So if your any reason you are vacillating on whether or not come race, just race it. It's going to be a blast.

We haven't determined how we'll start yet. Since most groups are running both days we may do something different on each day. I know they did some Le Mans style starts at some of the old King Taco Races, maybe we'll do that on one of the days? Ultimately we want to get people the most track time as possible, so it will come down to time considerations as well.

I'll have our web guy take a look a the general event rules link.

Contact Andy at Full Throttle Karting he is the promoter of Challenge of the Americas and the regional Rotax representative, he may have a good starting point.
