New Vintage Class at Willow Springs

Mark your calendar for March 24th 2013 at Willow Springs Kart Track for a new class of Vintage Racing. The Econo-100 series will be 6 race events for points, trophy’s, prizes, and cash awards.

The purpose of the class is to go back to inexpensive Karting without the sacrifice of the racing experience. The Karts of the 70’s and 80’ were some of the fastest around and yet still inexpensive for today’s Karter’s.
With the help of Mike Manning Karting and Vintage Kart Parts.com they have committed to 6 race dates at Willow Springs Kart track. The new class is called Econ-100. The rules are very simple, you must run a stock appearing Yamaha KT-100 on a pre-1987 Kart. Interesting idea! This could really help drag some old karts out of the garage instead of sitting and collecting dust in garages throughout So Cal, I am going to spread the word!
