replaced the piston seal and square seal on front birel caliper, bled brakes with proper bleeder, no air all new brake lines, piston moves but does not bite on the rotor, don't matter if i put bias all the way to front.. is my master gone, its got no leaks, they worked fine in the beginning but then bad seal.. then bad line .. now this?

marc, seems to me the master cylinder is need of rebuilding, the internal seals can go bad and not build pressure to activate. Do you have a good pedal or does it go to the floor? What brake fluid are you using, DOT4 or DOT5? Brake seals are sensitive to the fluid, use the wrong fluid, you will have problems. Make sure you use the correct fluid for the seals you are using.

motul rbf 600, will rebuild master as well, pedal travels too far, probably right since if the karts sits for a few weeks rear brakes needs to be re bled, and everthing is new there too but master.

Sounds like the master cylinder. How far are the brake pads from the rotor? You might need to add spacers to the back of the brake pad to take up the gap.

Marc...I've had my share of issues with the freeline brakes. The first thing I'd do is run the front line to the master cylinder you're using for the rear brakes and bleed again. IF the issue continues, then post here and we can troubleshoot further. If not, then you know its a master cylinder issue. Get a rebuild kit and make sure to get the plastic piston (pumping master cylinder. Part #2 on page 21 of the birel catalog) inside as well. They tend to expand and stick in the master cylinder quite often.
