Can I use a Sniper Alignment laser with a Shifter? It seems to me that the front disk brakes will be in the way.... :S
Where do you install it?
What is a good setup for a Tony kart Racer Shifter? Do you use a lot of toe-out? |

You can use it with front brakes. Just move the hub out enough to allow clearance for the snipers. If the magnets aren't sticking too well through the aluminum brake/bearing carrier you can use some duct tape to hold the gauges on.
Not sure what others run but I like just a hair of toe out. |

Tyson is right. I usually remove the hub assembly and put the sniper on the axle (old style tony front end) or directly on spindle (new style front end).
I usually run about 3mm toe out which equals approx zero toe with me in the kart. The amount if toe-in with you in the kart depends on your weight, how stiff and how wide you set the front-end. Since you're just starting, set it to 3mm total toe out and go run laps. 1.5mm per side = a dot and a half or just shy of the 1st line.
Hope that helps. _________________ Randy
