First off let me apologize for double posting. Just want to make sure everyone gets to see it. Once again I want to thank everyone for their support. Its been a huge part of my recovery. I go to therapy twice a week. It has helped tremendously. Although my wrist still doesnt have the grip or strength I'd like to have, I am optimistic and hopeful I can recover at least to 90%. As for my heel, I am up and walking, with a little limp. There are movements that I still cant do. I know its only been 6 months but you know me I have no patience, so yes I am a little frustrated that I'm not able to work yet. In order to get back on the roof my foot needs to move in ways that it cant yet. But with all that said, I am grateful because it could have been a lot worse. I do plan on racing this year. I have been to 2 indoor tracks to see what I was capable of. The first test was an 8 min session. The second was a 6 hour enduro with two 50 mins stints. Lets just say after alot of ice and drugs I'm good.See you guys at the track!! Once again thanks so much for all your help. _________________ www.neShifterKartSeries.com

That's so good to hear. It's been a very trying few months for some shifter karters in the area; with your accident, Orsorio's damages from the Hurricane and the like.
It'll be great when we see you at the track again, this time in a kart instead of the wheelchair.
Stay strong! But I don't even need to say that, you already proven you are. _________________ C. Skowron

| Mike, your awesome!! It was great to see you up and about, great to see you back in a Kart, great to see you still have it (he was still fast as hell). I had SOOOOOO much fun yesterday, I told Chris to schedule the next one soon so that I can plan accordingly. Now we need to put a radio in your helmet! Thanks for running with us!! |

Alright Folks, this will be my last update on my injury. In the past week I have made serious progress. I was up on the roof working ,took a step back and realized things were getting easier to do. I would say that I am at about 80%. No complaints here.
Not that I want to take away from the whole ICC VS STOCK MOTO entertainment, but I want to let everyone know that things are good here. I'm not saying its a walk in the park but we are doing well. If I was to tell you all the GOOD that has come out of this, you might have thought I JUMPED!!!
Now from some serious talk. I have received well wishes and donations from friends, family and people that I dont even know. Some I cant even contact. Again, thank you for all your support. Its been a big help. But now it is MY TURN.I hope I dont come off like a jerk but this is NON debatable. In order for me to have a clear conscious, and walk head up high, I MUST pay back your generosity. Like I said, non debatable. I have been blessed in many ways, I cant even explain. Please PM me your contact info, or I will see you at the track.
Now lets get these threads back to karting talk. There is some good entertainment about ICC VS STOCK MOTO. See you soon and thanks again.
