| I received a call on Sunday. A ladies uncle, Norman Carver, one of the founding members of the Mid-State Kart Club in 1960, had passed away and they were selling the house. She asked if I would like to have all of his 118 trophies and plaques. I very happily picked them up later that day. We rebuild trophies for the club. The older 1960's will be awarded to the Vintage racers on Memorial Day weekend. If you have trophies to get rid of, please bring them to the Winter Kart Show in Springfield January 26th and 27th. I will disassemble the newer ones and rebuild them as awards for our club races. We put new Year’s and sometimes new columns on the trophies to make a full set. |
