Guys,

I am nearly complete with my '99 CR125 rebuild but I have run into a couple of snags and have a couple of questions:
1. Is there a washer on the end of the water pump drive shaft? I'm talking about the far end that sits in the small bearing that is in the case, not the end with the impeller on it. The parts diagrams do not show a washer but the service manual does show a washer????? If someone can confirm that there is supposed to be a washer, I would GREATLY appreciate it if you would measure it (a part number would be helpful too).
2. The pentagon shaped washer on the clutch....is is supposed to go with the little fingers facing out or back toward the engine? On my '94 spare it is facing out and is bent down over the nut. But the parts diagrams show the fingers facing back towards the engine. Anyone know for sure?

Thanks for the help.

Todd

Do you mean underneath the drive gear? Yes.

- Clutch lock washer has two fingers that face towards the base of the inner hub and while straddle one of the ribs. Keeps washer from spinning. The extended edge of the washer is bent up to secure the nut in place.

- Under the impeller, there is a copper washer between the impeller and the shaft.
