Pardon the dirty engine, I just raced at a track where some classes thought the paved surface was a suggestion on where to go and was in the process of cleaning the whole kart. I took the clutch drum off and noticed some (what I thought) odd wear on the clutch shoes (I think this is what they're called). Can any of you experts confirm if this is normal or what would cause this? Thanks!

Looks normal to me ... it's the heat from the clutch spinning and engaging causing that.

As long as the wear is within your 'regulation' set limits all is good Wink
