I had one repaired ... yours looks better then mine.

Pretty sure it can be repaired but the problem would be to make sure everything is ligned up ...

( sorry for my english i speak french ! )

Martin how did the repair hold out?? Who did your repair kart shop or machine shop?. Did you have to split the cases??

Mine had to be split but it was because the actual base cracked and was leaking ...

From what I see it seems like it could possibly be repaired without splitting the case.

I think it's doable if it's well thought out. The problem is not cooking the near by gaskets and seals. I would clean it all up then figure out some sort of dam or block a system where water could be sprayed on the material out of the weld zone without interfering with the welding process.
