Does anyone know if these are still available? The information I've been able to come up with points to Stepanova Nekeel. He has no Twitter, no Facebook, and no emails that I could track down in searching.

I'm really liking the idea of a thin neck collar, and this seems to be the only one on the market. In my case, this would be for the Enduro application, where I want to get my chin down so that the breeze is not trying to pull my helmet off.

Any help on the topic would be appreciated.

Have you looked at these?

It is only an inch thick. I personally use this one:

It allows me full range of motion and I feel it will protect me a little more than a piece of foam. So far I have been a big fan (used it for 1 season).

SFN braces were being sold at the Rotax Nationals and Supernats. You should also be able to get them directly from the manufacturer in a variety of color combinations. Email them at: leeksmit@cablespeed.com

found this from a post back in 2009.

The EVS looks interesting. That might actually be the way to go with it's curvature over the shoulders.

Thanks Zack, I'm a little suspicious that email might be out of date.

Tyler, the FreeM looks very thick. It would have to be awfully compressible to work for me.

Just as a reference, here's my seating arrangement. I'm hoping to lay the seat back a little more. I guess I'm worried that a tall, stiff neck collar will hold my chin up too much.

That EVS is probably the way to go for thinness and the correct shape.

To follow up, I contacted Stepanova and he is no longer in the neck collar production business.
