Do not buy lead from this company/individual (Alton Edwards)!

We have heard countless excuses as to why he has not shipped us the lead that we purchased through Paypal.... At one point he was crying (literally) on the phone about all his issues, yet still did nothing as far as shipping the product.
Stay away from this guy.

Before anyone asks, I know we could buy lead at a lot of places, but he had a specifically shaped style that would have worked well for what we are doing.

When I saw this post the company named and situation sounded familiar. Sure enough, when I checked out the site it was the same place that never delivered the lead I paid for. As mentioned, best to avoid.

if <45 days since order placed - file dispute with paypal.
if >45 days since order placed - Call CC company, tell them what happen.

I got some from him 2 or 3 years ago. I will have to say that the rectangular 10 pounders are really nice for the back of the seat. However, it was a *difficult* transaction. I think it took close to a month. Every time I talked to him there was some excuse - no material, no time, etc. I think this is just a guy melting down scrap in his back yard and sand-casting in coffee cans. I did eventually get them though.

Postman was ticked off @ a 70 box. Smile
