Crank taper is IAME unless someone muffed it up trying to lap a yamaha clutch on it.

RS-1 will work good with clutch. Personally, I'd go direct drive though.

I think ur right, I was told that the RS1 had a real narrow powerband and had to slip the clutch at 11k to get there. Whats a great DD pipe for that engine?? Vevey? and what model? I also have the Parilla TT27 Rotary with no pipe...thanks for all the advice guys...

Maybe an RLV DD34? I had/might still have one of those, it seemed to work ok for DD.

The RS1 will work well with an engine clutch. Slip is about 10,00 for best performance. However can be lower.
Any vevey pipe will work for direct drive on either engine.
Check with any local shop to see what they have lying around. Most shops have these items rusting in a back corner.

I think I might have an RS-1 "rusting" in my garage that I'd happily part with!
