ChainDragGONE Race products has designed an engine mounting system that addresses this issue. The ZQ isolator engine mount system reduces the transmisability of vibration by isolating the engine from the chassis and the chassis dynamics fron affecting the engine.
The ability to manage these issues also prevents Plate lock that occurs. If you ever have had an engine that has been raced a number of races and you want to take it off to change it and it is stuck to the engine mounting plate, have you ever ask why does this happen?
Active interaction between the chassis and engine are the key. The transmisability of vibration and chain harmonics (excessive slack ) are contributing factors.
