Emmick and TrackMagic are all but gone aren't they. Good call on Coyote though.
It will be interesting to see next year. The euros always have faired well at the supernats, rock island etc.

What about a Offset Trick Chassis? Now that would be interesting. I think old Rogero would have a few tricks (no pun intended) up his sleeve for that.

I know the Rotax is a great kart pack, except for the tires, but what I don't understand is how come the serious European karters from the CIK FIA or WSK events don't bother with Rotax? How come some of the biggest names in Karting like Ardigo', Lammers, Verstappen and Russell were not in Portimao? But they were at the the Supernats in Vegas?

Well you also have many KZ drivers like Fore' and Ardigo' who are also not moving up and out of karting, but I understand your point now.
What about here in the US, for the driver that wants to climb the latter and pursue a carrier, which karting series should he/she prioritize and put the time and money in?

Mike here. If you are still in karts at 17 then you are not moving up,or out. Open wheel life starts at 16. Racing cars is very expensive. I know with a top team for F3 is more than a million a year. The lower level stuff is not bad. BIG MONEY.

The many kids I race kf3 with this year don't race Rotax because its not very popular but it is growing. It is also a considered a club level class by most Europeans. This for sure doesn't mean the older drivers are not talented. If KF keeps getting expensive then Rotax Euro will get bigger. KF has an expense problem for sure. The next thing we will see is an Italian engine company making a motor package to compete with Rotax. That will tell you Rotax is getting into their KF pockets.

And about chassis for a world final. I would guess they need to be homologated if its a CIK race. Coyote, emmick, track magic are not homologated. The chassis that will go to a Rotax world is usually a chassis looking for exposure. I bet Praga will be there next year.
