I recently found out that my chassis is a Swift. Does anyone know anything about Swift chassis? Who made them, when they were made, parts, anything.
Thanks for the info.

Doug Sheppard made them and were imported here in the mid '90's. I was a dealer as well, Russell Karting. Most were sold as a package with a 257 Rotax on them and were run in a Swift Cup Series. Later there were a couple that came and other motors were used.

Mark:
The guy I bought the kart from had a Rotax 257 on it. You saw the kart at Barber in July. I redid the back half and put the 450 on it.
Gerry:
I would put some pictures up if I had a clue how to do that. I'm computer challenged.

One of my superkart chassis is a Swift. Once the 257 grenaded, I swapped in a stock CR250. It's been a great reliable learner chassis. I'm using it now to help get new people into superkarts.

I am looking for some front/rear rotors for it if anybody has some laying around.

If they are normal Kelgate type, I manufacture them.

Hi Guys

They should be Kelgate but probably not the same as the current 250 Stuff.

Fronts are probably mounted on Conical carriers which may or may not have ventilation holes.

Probably 162 or 165 x 8 fronts and 200 x 12 rears with 2-pots front and 4-pots rear

Here's a link to the shiny stuff:

Best Regards

The brakes were Kelgate and the fronts were 125's that became a problem when we went faster especially on the laydowns that were made.
