I'm putting a feeler out there to see if there's any interest from the north east and/or mid Atlantic states to split the costs of sending all our gear down to Daytona in December. I've got access to a 56' race car hauler with a full shop, generator, air conditioned lounge, lots of storage, 52' x 20' tent off the truck, sat TV, and hydraulic elevator lift gate. It's a beautiful rig that we use to haul Ferrari Challenge cars up and down the east coast. I'll post pics tomorrow (can't figure out how to post pics from my iPad)... The cost per person will depend on how many people are interested but I'd guess that it will be between 600 - 1,200, and to be fair to everyone, those with more stuff will pay more then those with less stuff. I'm not doing this to make any money, just figured it would be pretty cool and a lot of fun to show up with a good contingent from the northeast, and have a hell of a rig to work out of. Pm me if your interested. Truck is based on Long Island, so you'd have to get your stuff to me, but I'd be ok with having the truck stop once or twice along the way to pick up another group or two.

If there's no interest in kart pooling, does any one know if there is a Group(s) that are planning to Shea's down to the event? I'd like to go, and I go alone, but donut want to go without a contingent from the NE...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

Steve,

This is a fantasic gesture on your part. You should be commended.

Sounds like a sweet rig and would be tons of fun for anyone involved.

My ride share to Daytona fell through and with it...... my plans to go. If you were a little further inland maybe I would get on board but the East Coast is too far to go to catch a ride.....kinda takes the "savings" out of it for me.

Nice to see an individual make an effort to help other road racers, cudos to you!

Hope you make the trip.
