Summary
• 60 minute time limit
• Minimum 2 stops
• 1 – 4 drivers
• 360 lb minimum weight
• Standing start LeMans style
• Tires must be used and show reasonable signs of wear. No scuffs or stickers.
Procedures
Start of Race:
Starting position will be based on 3 lap qualifying session. Start will be a standing start with motors
off. Karts will be lined up on the front stretch at an angle (LeMans style). Driver and one crew
member will be permitted on the track for the start of the race. Driver will be seated in the kart.
The crew member will start the kart at the signal of the green flag.
Mandatory Stops:
A minimum of two mandatory stops are required for driver change, refueling or otherwise. If no
driver change is being performed, the driver as a minimum must exit from the kart, walk completely
around the kart, then re-enter. The motor must be turned off before the driver can exit the kart.
Weigh In:
Drivers must weigh before and after the race. Their individual weights must be recorded. Drivers
weight will be added to the weight of the kart at completion of the event. Drivers are not permitted
to carry any weight on their body or in their clothing.
Fueling:
Karts must come to the grid with no fuel. One gallon will be added to the kart using a track
provided 1 gallon container. Karts will then be moved to the starting line. Fueling during the race
must be done with the driver out of the kart and the motor off.
Tires:
Tires must be Bridgestone YHC, YKC, or YLC. Tires must be submitted to the race director or tech
personnel prior to the initial practice for examination and marking. All tires must show signs of
wear (at least 1 full race day) . No scuffs or stickers will be allowed at any time during practice,
qualifying or race. More than one set can be marked. Durometer testing may be used to determine
if tires are acceptable. Rain tires are non spec and do not need to be used. Rain tires may only be
used if specified by the race director.
Practice:
Each team will get 20 minutes of practice time and one 3 lap qualifying session prior to the race.
Schedule:
The endure race will be held as the last event of day. One round of practice will be held during an
intermission in the normal race schedule.

Team TBR will be there. Right now, we are planning on just running with our existing team of two but could be open to ideas as the date approaches.

Entry is the regular Entry Fee for Saturday (or included on the weekend fee) for the Great Pumpkin: http://pittracekarting.com/pumpkinregistration2012_.pdf
