Here is some video from practice at MIS. Obviously this was from before I lost the camera. Still learning the track in the video but gives you a good sense of the speed of the track even though there are 2-3 1st gear corners. Thanks and enjoy.

Mounted on your "kart" the video is MUCH different than mine.

The boys up in the office are working on it now, quite a bit different from my view. Wink

It'll be up today.

Yeah I have tried a couple different places. I like the way you can see a lot of what is going on from that view but it shows way more than you actually see in the kart. I have been putting it right behind my head but for some reason it kept turning the camera off in that location. I have tried the helmet which gives a good idea of what it actually looks like driving a laydown but it shakes so much sometimes it is hard to watch. Excited to see your video from the race.

Not a road racer, although I was gonna give it go this year in tag. The WKC decided not to visit NJMP this year. I know why, and aren't complaining. But I don't recall seeing lay down shifter at a WKC event. What motor are you using?

F125 doesn't tend to draw big class counts. The largest this year was at Grattan.

Yeah the F125 class usually doesn't have a huge number. There are quite a few guys in the Michigan/Ohio area so races around there usually get 6-10 karts. Grattan was the big pull with 17 or 18. There are a 4 or so guys that do the national series so those are the guys you might see at a WKC event. At VIR I think we had 6 karts.

I use a modified TM k9b. We don't have to use CIK ICC rules so we put larger carbs, high compression heads and different ignitions. Guys also use built hondas as well.

Chuck...WKC has one more race this season down at Summit Point on October 13th weekend. Give it a go! Did two Road Race weekends this year and will be there for the that one. It is more fun than a person should be allowed to have..lol.

The dominant kart in F125 and unlimited this year is running a mod cr125.

The full mod ICC's are faster at tracks like Daytona, but everywhere else, the torque of a good built moto can't be matched, or beat.

Btw, great vid Jeremy. Love the view.

Mylaps from this event posted yet?

Noah, no doubt, Kelly has ran very well this year. He's a fun guy to race with, good clean driver, his stuff is well prepped, and his Honda is strong. I am very curious how his mod Honda would do at Daytona. It might surprise all of us.
Mid length tracks seem to be a draw Honda vs. Pavesi, I ran well at Grattan, Kelly ran well at VIR.
Is Kelly going to Daytona? He wasn't sure at VIR.
