Hey guys,
Please do not post links or actual classifieds for karts/engines/parts you are selling. Please make them in the appropriate section of the EKN Classifieds and do not republish or make a link to them in this section. Thank you. _________________ David Cole

Hey David, while I understand your request for this, there is a reason that I/we would do something like this.
Posting a kart that is setup for Solo/Autocross is not the same as posting one for Sprint racing. So, if one were to only post it in the classifieds section, it's not a popular choice for a Sprint racer or otherwise, and likely gets passed by a Soloist looking to find something specifically for Solo.
I'm not sure I understand the danger of at least making a reference to the ad within a post here, getting the attention of the Soloists that might be interested.

David,
Perhaps a "sticky" at the top of the forum for announcing postings in the classifieds? As mentioned, the Solo stuff is a bit offbeat. I'm sure the Superkart and Vintage guys would love this as well. Keep the classifieds in the classified section - but at least be able to point shoppers there... _________________ Craig Butt / Ohio Valley Region SCCA

Brian is spot on. My kart sold because it was in this section (found by a National Champion Autocrosser). The ad in the other section got a lot of hits but EVERYONE who inquired claimed I was "wasting their time" because of how my kart/motor is setup. Very well built autocross kart, but fairly useless for road-racers. _________________ #35 AS, SCCA WDCR |
