How long should a 16 tooth driver last on a Leopard? Even with a good quality chain lube used every session, it seems to be wearing too fast. 6-8 hours and the teeth are shot. Is this normal?

Well, you figure about 1.5 to 2 hours per weekend, so about 4 or 5 events. Yep, that seems about right. Ours look a little too worn at about that time, so we change to whole mess. Chain and both gears. The old stuff makes good, ready to go spares. Of course in a few seasons you end up with a LOT of good, ready to go spares---which you never use!!!
