Make sure the brakes work. Usually on a euro kart the bar behind the seat will interfere with the drive chain on an inboard drive clone motor. What's wrong with leaving the KT100 on it?

A kart is a kart, they're all about the same. Set your toe straight ahead. What do you want to know, have you been on track with it?

I have not been on the track with it yet as I am buying a clutch this weekend but I just wanted to know if it's a "good" kart because I can't even find any info on it.

Jollykart's a good kart. Like I said just bleed the brakes real good with dot3 and make sure you've got a firm pedal. Make sure the chain guard covers the clutch good and will protect your arm from chain slap. Also check the tires for dry rot and make sure all the wheels spin free. Check all the nuts and bolts around the kart especially the steering stuff. If the toe is straight ahead and it rolls nice and straight on a flat surface you should be good.

Haven't seen a Jolly in a few years, but a friend had one when I was younger and it seemed to go alright in the lower horsepower classes.

How do I check to see that the toe is straight?

Just center up the steering then take a flexible tape measure and check in between the tires front and back.

Ty- make sure the motor mount fits the tubing of the kart. measure the tubing diameter ,it could be 28/30 or 32 mm. If its the wrong size it won't clamp down firmly on the tubing. Jolly karts were made by a world champion karter nicola gianberti (sp?) who won the championship on a Hasse kart in the mid nineties. Imported by a family in Wisconsin, did well. Check the welds for cracks, should be fine for you to run.

Isn't the difference between the 28 and the 32 petty significant? The 28 is for low hp and the 32 is for rotax/shifter and kt100?
