|
|
Alright guys listen up, here is the deal. The North east shifter series has just partnered up with a brand new sponsor. A press release will be sent shortly in regards to that. They have genourously given us a $3000.00 prize fund for this race. The date of this race will be held on Aug 10th and 11th of 2012. And will be held at F1 outdoors. The 10th will be a full day of practice. And the 11th will be race day. Although the racing format has not been decided yet, there will definitly be more then enough track time for everyone. We will be running 2 classes. ICC and Stock Moto. This race will be ran in the same manner as our regional series. What I mean by this is Open tire, open fuel, "NO MAGIC MIXTURES" our tech guy is smart.Icc weight is 385 lbs. Stock moto is 390 lbs. As of right now the payout will be as follows:
1st place $600.00
2nd place $400.00
3rd place $200.00
That is for each class. The remaining money has not been decided where its going. But I assure you its going to the racers.
We are trying to create a foundation for something good here. We have had an average of 30 karts for the North east shifter races. So if you want to race with some of the best drivers in the North east and have a great time then please come join us. We can use the help. Lets make it 50 karts!! Thanks , Mike Rivera. _________________ www.neShifterKartSeries.com

Great job Mike!! I think your recipe for welcoming all shifter drivers to an event that gives the racers more track time than most of them want is working well!! If you are going to drive a long distance for a race, most guys would want as much track time as they can possibly get...and this sure seems like the one to go to! Hopefully the fields turn out the way you hope. I for one will be attending...thanks
BTW: for the guys that have not been to F1 Boston outdoors...it is a unbelievable Karting track...you will not be disappointed! _________________ STOCK HONDA SODI KART
