Hi Guys,

We are making the trek over to Laguna and trying to save on Air freight weight where we can. Can anybody tell me if there is an Elf Oil agent that we can pre-order with???? And Dunlop tyres - is this solely through Russell Karting????

Cheers

Matt

4 bottles of ELF976 = 4kgs, pack your own oil as Ted/JR don't use 976 grade and everyone else in the USA have never even heard of ELF.
Dunlop tyres through Russell Karting, PM Johnny West, maybe he can bring/sell them to you at the track as he uses the DES tyre on his Anderson.

And in case you kiwi's get a bit toey by night, there are no sheep to shag near by, all the surrounding land is mainly for farming of fruit/vegtables. The corner workers in Salinas by night may just be your style and should match up well to your body frame. Have fun Matt!

Hi Sam

Do I take it that you aren't going to make it to Laguna this year?

Best Regards

Ian, unfortunately I will not make it to Laguna this year, I didn't get my kart properly ready in time for the recent final departure ship, plus with no one from Australia going to share my double crate made it difficult to justify sending just one kart.

I will be racing at NOLA Motorsports Park on October 27-28 in a rented kart.

Thanks Sam - I saw enough of the Salinas girls on offer last time. I was standing kerbside at some unholy hour waiting for Sprog to pick me up when some gun toting nutter demanded a cigarette for his "lady". When I politely pointed out the 7-11 over the road, he proceeded to go and rob the place! No thanks - you can keep it!! I was also disappointed to find out that the Cougars that were said to roam the hills nearby were of the feline kind, although both would leave the same outcome...f**ked Very Happy

We have pinged an email to Johnny to see what he carries in the way of parts etc as we will be running the DEA but will be packing our own oil as it appears that Total only is available, and they only do a version of the 909. Bugger.

Not too worried about the sheep Sammy - I'll be far too knackered for sheep trials and long gumboots at the end of the day anyway.

Pity you can't make it this year - I was looking forward to a catchup over an ale or two...

also a pity Ted & JR aren't running TZ anymore - I same a heap of yamaha stuff go in the bin last time around and could do with the spares myself now Twisted Evil Twisted Evil No offence intended Wink Wink

Damn. Now I sound like Cookie.... Embarassed

Old Sheep Joke

At the end of a hard days work the farmer walked into the farmhouse with a sheep under his arm.

His wife was standing in the kitchen and the farmer said, "Look, this is the pig I sleep with every night".

The farmer's wife said, "That's not a pig you fool, that's a sheep!!"

The farmer replied, " I think you'll find I was talking to the sheep" Laughing Laughing

See you at Laguna, Matt. See you at QLD, Sam.

Best Regards

Ian Very Happy

No offence intended Wink

Nice one Ted,

That reminds me of the old Army joke about the scabby Camel in the desert.

You know the one . . . . with the punch line:

"Well sir, as long as you enjoyed it, but the men usually just ride it to the local brothel" Laughing Laughing Laughing

Best Regards
