|
|
Being Shockwave is out of business.I want to realign the front end on my sons kart. Its a Mt Eibert Cadet.
It seems the inside of the left tire is wearing a bit too much.I checked the camber it is -1/4.
The right is +1 1/4.The toe is 2mm in.Any help would be appreciated.I am using the Longacre bubble gauge.
Oh one more thing it has what seems to be adjustible ecentrics bolt where the spindle bolt (square bolt)is off set and has a series of dots on all four ends.
I also need some numbers to go by.I have no idea what specs I should go by,for camber/caster/toe.
The kart is scaled at just about 53 rear and 47 front.
Any help would be appreciated. |

| If you can take a picture of the eccentric, that would let me know what year/series that chassis is. We used SKM eccentrics on older models and made our own castor/camber pills for the last 2ish years of production. |

Greg I will try and get a photo to you.The kart is a 2008.The eccentric is square with the corners drilled out with what looks like a nut with a hex hole in the center. The reliefs on the corners look like they line up with a couple of little dots.Hope that explains it. |
