I know I'm necro-ing this post, but I thought the info might be good for any club racers who are allowed to switch.
We moved the fuel pump to a home-made bracket on the side of the airbox, and mounted the adjuster cable for the main jet along the top of the frame rail under the airbox. We put the mid-sized jet in, and I start it at 2 turns out. Let the engine warm up some, adjust the low jet, and the idle. Then I lean out the main jet till it revs free... Done! Tuning at the track takes a couple of minutes, and I can make quick adjustments as needed.
There isn't a local max series, and I don't have plans to travel for racing. For a club racer, where the rules are open to this, it's a godsend.
