That HPV/KPV is a great package not too expensive used and you'll have to mount a pipe. KT100 jr can muffler set up is good too with the new dry clutches. K80 has a Tilly and a pull starter. Honda Clone racing is cheap and getting big in some areas. If you're going to jump into the rotax world I'd do allot of research to find the real cost of maintenance and required upgrades, resale lose ect. Depends on what gets raced at your track and your future goals.

Hi Marc,
If looking for engine work.
Doug Fleming does as good a job as can be done on the K-80's.

Things went very well, im Green when it comes to that carb i had read alot before hand and we logged over 70 laps all with no hickups.
Daughter loved it only 3 months in kid kart to Cadet and at least on straight away we logged 11810 rpm letting off.
I have no balast so we are under weight wich made kart looser then should be.
One question is CHT temps were fine for her first time, high 300 low 400 but on Decel once in a awhile we saw 580-600cht but fraction of sec.. she was on off gas thru alot of corners, would that cause those Temps.
Thanks |

Those temps are a glitsch, try separating the temp and tach leads as much as possible. possible intermittent open in temp sensor or internally in guage

yesterday we ran 1/4 mile oval track, was fun, but could only get 306 cht.. everytime out would lean out 1/4 turn did not get better, then in finals gave 1/2 and now got too lean would not really go anywhere.. My daughter was not impress with me ..
any reason why the changes did not do anything? |
