In looking at the JMK kart was that the front bar was welded in (no adjustment) and that the front seat attachment points were adjustable, welded clamps to the chassis that allowed horizontal movement of the seat w/o detaching the seat front, wished I had taken pics

Margay has come out with a newly designed chassis. The seat has horizontal adjustment as well as the pedal assembly. We don't run this chassis yet, but have seen it at the track and talked with Keith about. Not 100% but I am pretty sure it has been designed and built right there in St. Louis.

Jeremy Warren, in Noblesville Indiana has built several very nice and quick karts that have been competitive at Man Cup events. Also, Comet Kart Sales has a line of USA made (Brownsburg, Indiana) karts called Comet Eagles.

I thought eKartingnews was going to do an article on USA made karts about a year ago. Was I dreaming?

Hey all, speaking of American Karts. What happened to Track Magic?
I grew up racing on their chassis, then I grew away from karting. Now that I am back, they completely disappeared!

Fausto Died in 07 I believe. From there it went to two owners. The first outsourced it to Intrepid which was the hornet line which was in 08. The second owner never really got anything going.

I'm very surprised this name wasn't snatched up by someone. It had the best name brand going in american karting for many years.

Fausto left us in 2006 and without his passion, Trackmagic was just a name.

Thats not how others that bought the product perceive it. I guess there are no others in karting are that where a part of that with passion. Doubt it.

Lou Fehring used to make a road racing sprint chassis in the 80s called the Uzzi.
