Mark, the reason the angles change when you move the bar a little bit is because it isn't exactly straight.
I took mine into the kitchen and rolled it on the counter to see where it was bent and kept adjusting (bending) it until it was perfectly straight.
Now there is no change at all in the angle measurements when I move the bar around.

| i know of another guy that has a bar that is a little bent also. |
