Hello-

I just bought my first kart (08 CRG Road Rebel w/ Rotax Senior).

I'm looking into changing my pipe mount, currently it has 2 AMC Racing Pipe Clamps, one side is connected using the clamp and other side is using zip ties. This is all connected to the rear bumper and due to my storage/garage situation, I need to remove the rear bumper to get in and out.

I'm looking for an exhaust mount that mounts to the frame and came across the Prospeed Exhaust Pipe Mount which had very good reviews on this forum. The other contender is the 2011 Odenthal Exhaust Pipe Mount. The Odenthal Mount is about $10 cheaper. Does anyone have experience with the Odenthal mount? Or should I just stick to the Prospeed?

Lots of opinions on which pipe mount is better. I would say the PKT and the Prospeed are the two most widely used. Both are good mounts built by companies who support EKN and karting in general. You can't go wrong with either of them. I have never seen the Odenthal used.

I have used that Odenthal mount. It's lighter than the ProSpeed one and works just as well. I'd recommend it.

Thanks guys. I found a site that sells the prospeed mount for $99, so I think I'm going to go with that one.
