OK stan,
notice how the 4-stroke GP bikes are beating up the 2-strokes ?
Is this a sign of the future for karting?.
Have you seen the new Briggs "World formula" kart motor?:- 4-stroke , 200cc, 15hp, Elec start, clutch, umpteen hours between service's, and less than $1000. |

Chad if you have a link to the engine could you post it. I have an animal for next season but would like to get one of these world formula motors to play with.

| I don't know of a link. But the most recent picture I have seen was in NKN. I have been working with the animal this year the little motor does seem promising. Buildt to the IKF meth rules my times on the track are only 1 secound off of limited mod records. For a $500.00- $600.00 motor with stock Briggs parts thats pretty impressive it even beatsthe Blue Wazom motor in power and bang for the buck. The new Forumal motor will be interesting to see how it pans out but for the extra $500.00 bucks I am not sure that I wouldn't be better off using the stock animal and adding $200.00 of billet parts. It wont take much to get the stocker up and over that 15 HP number. But then I wouldn't have the electic starter, which I think will make for more problems than what it's worth. I haven't yet but do plan on using direct drive with the aniaml. |
