What is the WKA rule for the flywheel in 2012? In the Stock Clone class. Does anyone know?

Don't know what the rule is exactly but I'd definitely recommend going with a billet flywheel for safety sake. If you didn't know something bad can happen it's an accident, if you did know it's negligence.

BTW, how would you guys feel about running Animal LO206 in the same run group as the clones? Times should be close and it would make for bigger grids. You could score them separately pretty easy.

Cheers,

John, that would not be a problem at ELKT. Run together and scored seperatly is easy. I was asking the question because we are headed south to race this winter to a track that says they run WKA clone engine rules. Just wanting to make sure I know what that means.

I honestly think it's still up in the air until the new "billet clone flywheels" arrive from China.

I'd go with what you have and just be prepared to buy one from a local builder down there if the rules are different or you're not competitive.

Have fun!!!!

BSFW-1 steel billet flywheel allowed on 1/1/12 and mandatory on 7/1/12.

They say the new flywheels will be here about mid Feb.

Until then keep your coil bolts tight.
