Is there a wep site where there are a lot of 4cycle users?
Being just north of nowhere, it would be nice to get input from other points of view.

Try www.4cycle.com

A bunch of them are at Daytona right now, but it still has a bunch of traffic. This forum will get going sooner or later so keep checking back!

Lots of 4-cycle racers read this site but very few post anything. I think that the problem for Canadians is that we run Honda mostly and the American clubs run Briggs mostly. There isn't a lot os similarity. It sure would be nice if the Honda Racers north and south of the border started to participate.

Where do 4cyclers hang out? Being from Texas and know some 4 cyclers I could type something funny but I don't know if the rest of the 4 cycle community would be amused

I opened this post up because it sounded like the begining to a good punch line

Disclaimer: I will drive anything and I respect the efforts of 4 cyclers. This was not ment ot offend anybody.

Oscar, you mean like:

At the local John Deere-WheelHorse-Toro dealer.
At diners with names like Slim's (Slim weighs 400lbs!), The Dew-Drop Inn, ar any place along the interstate where there are more than 5 semi's parked out front.
At the local CB radio shop.
Any where beer is sold.
The "other" side of the tracks.
(just joking around, guys)

ACtually some time ago on Bob's site ( the place to be for 4-cycle racers)there was a thread going about "You know your a 4-cycle racer if....." Kinda of a Jeff Foxworthy rountine kind of thing. A lot of the response were absolutely hilarious!!

A karter is a karter is a karter. We all better be able to laugh at ourselves and each other..4cycle-2cycle-shifter-dirt-sprint-road race.

The older I get, the more I find myself hanging out over the top of my belt buckle.

You know you're a 4 cycle racer if your wife has ever said, "Honey, would you get these engine parts out of the dishwasher so I can clean my Elvis plates?"
(true story, well, except for the Elvis plates)

I've been banned from bringing parts in the house. A few of those valve spring "cooking" experiments several years back took care of that for me. Never did let me put anything in the dishwasher, but asking about it did get me a new sink for washing parts at the shop

You know your a 4-cycler if your *wife* goes out to mow the lawn and comes right back in and wants to know where the engine went off her mower.....
If you have three old oval chassis sitting on blocks next to the garage......
If you have more than one nickname....and use them both at the same time or any two-part name that contains boy....
If you mistake Briggs Light for a new lo-cal beer.....

I always liked the one where you know your a 4 stroker if you "smooch" your gas tank before starting it. I know, I raced Briggs for 4 years and "smooched" many a gas tank. Or how 'bout you can't race your Briggs on mothers day because it's back on the lawn mower.

I remember the "you maybe a Briggs racer if..." thread. It was about the funniest stuff I ever read on the internet.

Hey Bob V....I thought all 4-cycles were parts *wasters*

Was that a typo or a freudian slip in your post?

Doug, we have to "smooch" when we're running the Hearn Endurance Race during pit stops. It gets interesting putting your face so close to scalding metal as three other guys are trying to push the kart off.
