| I was just curious what has happened to this series. I thought it was said that Rotax wanted to make this the largest Rotax series in the world. Now there is just one race. Just wondering what the thought process is here. |

Robert,
I believe that they trimmed it down to one race so that Rotax racers would race and support their local Rotax series. With the FWT, Gatorz, and Grand National...there isn't a lack of competitive national Rotax racing...especially with the challenging economy. The PanAm round at Centennial was cancelled last year due to lack of entries. |

2012 Pan Am "series" consists of 7 races for each participant.
To be eligible to race at the Pan Am Championship Event ( PACE ) a driver must get 6 "punch" races.
Four* Grand Finals "tickets" will be awarded to the winner of the finals at the PACE.
*MAXSpeed group has chosen to move three of the Grand Finals transfer spots to the US RMC program, so the 2012 Pan Am will have four transfer spots, one each for Senior, Junior, DD2 and DD2 Masters.
