Hey guys,
Might be looking at picking up a rotax kart in the Jacksonville area and was wondering if you all knew of anyone I could take it to to get it once-overed? Thanks!

Best choice.. OGP... if you're just getting it checked out and whatnot. If you want it maintained, check with 103rd Raceway in Jax... they may be able to help not sure though. Give em a ring.
Nate will definitely take care of you at OGP though. _________________ "Winners are scared of losing..

| Yeah if the guy gives me more details and pics I'm going to see if he'll meet me at OGP, or I might just give them a call since he said that's who just rebuilt the motor with all the updated components. |

+1 OGP -- Nates great, the guys are second to none.
OGP's top notch. Easy guys to work with, great track, even better people. We have had a HUGE turn out this year and it just keeps getting better!
Are you planning on running the local series? _________________ "If it is broken we will fix it, damaged we will repair it and if it happens on race day we will buy a new one." |

+1 OGP! We love the place and the folks are awesome.
Also the best place for stiff competition. |

| Yes I plan on running at OGP if I pick this kart up being that's the closest track with a good turnout. I was just looking at a used Katy in Jax so I was wondering if anyone knew a reputable shop that I could take it to. Waiting on pictures to see if I'm going to go take a look/purchase it this weekend, but I probably wouldn't make the local series the next weekend since I'll have to get safety gear and misc. stuff also. |

If you can post name, we may be able to tell you history of that kart racing.
There were some karts stolen from OGP last year. That one could be one of those if person is unknown and/or have no knowledge of kart/engine details. _________________ TonyKart EVRR - Rotax Jr

| The guys name is Ryan, it's an '08 CRG black star with a '06 rotax that was rebuilt by OGP earlier this year. He has the passport and says it has the updated air box, clutch, etc. he also said he ran a "state race" at OGP but doesn't have the time or money to dedicate to karting anymore. He said he's fine with me asking OGP about the engine since they rebuilt it so I'm guessing it's not one of the stolen ones. |

He is probably OK, but did not found Ryan in any relevant classes (Rotax Sr, Tag, Rotax masters, Tag Masters, Tag Heavy) in last 3 years racing FKCS in OGP. |

You should have came out to the Crazy Cuban Tent Sale. Jorge had motors at $900 by the end of the weekend and used Senior karts were dirt cheap.
My friend picked up 2 complete CRG DD2's for $2500 a piece engine frame everything. I'll be real surprised if there isn't some more karts floating around at our next race. If you don't find anything your comfortable with let me know and I'll ask around. _________________ "If it is broken we will fix it, damaged we will repair it and if it happens on race day we will buy a new one." |

| Was it a new style one? Damn that's a steal, I'm really regretting missing it now. How often (or not often) do they do those tent sales? |
