This past weekend I finally bought my first kart. A two year old Tony Wilson Chassis with a new Rotax motor on it.
I want to be sure to maintain the motor properly and was wondering if there is any literature out there other than the orange photocopied manual I got with the it. Any books, sites, etc. that you'd recommend? I'm new to karting and 2 cycle motors so any information you can provide would be great (I already and reading the archives).
Second question. I saw a post a while back about air in the fuel lines. While looking at my kart last night I noticed a huge air bubble in the line right before it goes into the kart. Based on what I had read (need to find the thread again) this is something I should be concerned with, correct?
Thanks,
Todd |

Tod, Tommy,
Take a look at the links on the NorCal web page. Lot's of answers there for most of your questions.

As for the R-Max, download the Acrobat files from the R-Max web page and read the User/Repair manual, note they are at the bottom of this page.

There is recomended maint. intervals for most everything and the steps needed to do the maint. is well written.
Tommy,
As for your RM1, I haven't come accross any Repari or Maint tip sheets yet. Here is the Spares part list link. (half way down page)
