| Not sure if this belongs in this section, but I wanted to start a thread about carpooling options, I think there may be others in the same situation. I know my tiny trailer is not going to make it to Virginia and Pittsburgh, looking for transportation and willing to share expenses. I am sure there are others. I can get my stuff (kart/stand/tools) to Bostom/MA/NH/Connecticut area. Bernard or Mike, maybe we can add a carpooling section to the neshifterkartseries.com web page? |

ActionKart takes my stuff to the track for these long away races. I don't know if its worth it for you to trailer your stuff into central NJ and drop it off with them, but I'm sure you can leave your trailer in their lot while they're taking your stuff to/from the tracks.

| Thanks Paul, but for me driving to central NJ is pretty much the same as VW or Pittsburgh:) |

Mike,
I manage the logistics for a Ferrari race team out of Long Island, which allows me access to several haulers to choose from. I'd be willing to explore the feasibility of transporting several people's equipment, but it would have to be transported by you and other to Long Island on Friday afternoon. If there are enough people interested (4 or more) ill try to estimate the cost..... I will consider driving the rig up to CT, but there would be added cost.
Let me know what your thinking,
Steve |
