This is our first trip to Kershaw.......the dates finally work for my team.
We will be bringing 3 or 4 WKA Sprinters to Kershaw, we hope to have a good class there.
Can anyone give me a starting gear ratio?
Thank you,
Eric |

Not sure on pre-entries, other than knowing we put ours in. lol It's hit or miss on how many show for this race.
Being your first trip to Kershaw - You should enjoy the track, especially with the sprinters. It's a fast place that'll keep you up on the wheel in traffic.
The facility itself is very nice, though be advised that there is not too much close by- especially lodging, which I'd think you'd already have handled anyways.
Bring a broom to sweep out your trailer! Lots of sand in parts of the pit area.
Should be a very fun weekend! We'll be rolling in Thursday afternoon- looking forward to meeting you.

Fresh tires are a must as the track is fast but abrasive. The sprint classes have good showings. _________________ www.southernkartclub.com |

| What engine do you have on the Sprinters? That would help to know as far as gearing. |

Eric,
Yes full course. You can begin practice on old tires (one race or so) but you will want at least two practices on the fresh tires. You should be ok with those tires for the remainder of the weekend. _________________ www.southernkartclub.com |

Was a cold, damp, breezy morning session. Got decent out after the lunch break. Sunshine and some warmth greeted us at the conclusion to practice. Overall a very good day over on the NRRS side of things here at Kershaw. Brandon, Billy and crew did a superb job of getting us all ample track time.
Seen a few more trailers rolling in today too. Should be a good day tomorrow. _________________ Jeff Wesell
