Anybody care to share setup advice on a cruzer? For a 125.
I have the information from the Intrepid website. _________________ Erik

Erik,
The manufacturer spec are right on. Set the seat exactly where they say and go with the neutral caster/camber settings. We found that it likes about 58-59% rear weight for a shifter. Not sure if the Cruiser has a removable 4th rail, but I never used the 4th or rear bars. Front bar in, but try it without to see if it works in some conditions.
I did go with slight positive caster and camber (one dot from neutral) when it started to feel overstuck mid corner. That seems counter intuitive, but it worked to free it up.
I had the 2010 Sirius, so take this for what it's worth. _________________ Randy

I had a pretty epic push loose with the factory setup (no castor pills) last weekend roadracing. First day out on the chassis (and i did not play with castor due to time, just track widths). I have abuddy of mine who took footage and it is usually bad when you can read the stickers on the sidepods at ~85 MPH.
I was going to a 30 MM chassis because I think it willl be wel suited to the long radius fast corners we see.
It does have a fourth rail (did not try), rear rail, and a UHMW (plastic) front bar.
Thanks for the input, Randy. _________________ Erik

loosen rear bumper, make sure the front of the nose is lower than the rear of the nose, shift weight to the front, shorter rear hubs, narrow the rear, lower the back of the seat towards the axle (lessen rear side bite).
The wear pattern on front and rear tires looked good with only slightly more wear on the inside edges so it won't take much and you will be in the sweet spot |

Interesting. I'm assuming you were understeering on turn-in? I almost never had a push in the intrepid. Usually a bit on the loose side and it always ate the rears before the fronts. Might just be the diff in the 32mm Sirius vs 30mm Cruiser (or maybe seat position). Either way, I'd look at scaling and probably move the seat to cure the push. _________________ Randy

push on turn in, then the chassis would wind up and go loose.
Going to the sprint track to see if I can figure it out. It was fast but really twitchy to drive.
