Bernie...thanks! Where are you located? If you see something that looks good, I'd appreciate it if you pass along the details to me. Then I can look and determine if it's in my budget with any shipping or long distance travel.
Thanks. Chris |

As John mentioned,I'm in the Phoenix ,Az. metro area (Glendale) and I'm quite involved in 4 cycle racing, specifically World Formula. I'll get back to you real soon. If you like you can scan the classifieds on the forum at www.pkra.com ,our local club/track. There are a lot of quality pieces available in the area. _________________ I breathe ,therefore,I race |

Ok, didn't realize he was saying that's where you live. I lived in Chandler, AZ from 1999-2004. Loved that area, except for the summers!! Nothing like endless consecutive days where the temps didn't go below 100 even at night. But it's a dry heat....
Would like to find something closer, but if its a good enough deal might be worth shipping. |

Chris,
We have two older Arrow Chassis that we now run 4-strokes on. I like the Arrow, but the right seat strut needs to be moved towards the center of the chassis to run a Clone (Chonda) or Briggs. Not too hard to do, but is a problem you will encounter. Also switched to #35 chain to run smaqller diameter sprockets due to the rear bar is angled towards the right side... If you get a good buy on an older Arrow and are handy with a mig welder don't hesitate.
P.S. we just switched one of our two karts to the Briggs WF and so far are really liking it compared to the Chonda.

Thanks Mike. Do you know the model for the older Arrow that can easily be converted? Not that familiar with all the different karts, so any other info would be helpful. |

Does anyone know if the Margay Brava 1.4 chassis is a good one for a Briggs WF engine? There is one posted in the classifieds that is in my range and might be close enough to pick-up.
I did some internet searching and found some that show a 4 cycle clone engine mounted, but couldn't tell if it had to be cut and welded or if it fits as is.
Thanks.

Thanks for the response John.
Unfortunately I guess it was a risk posting my question, because now the chassis listing seems to have been pulled from the classifieds (which I didn't know you could do). This stinks since it was in my prince range and on the east coast that I could have made a long trip to pick up.
I'll have to keep on lookout for this chassis and maybe call to see if they have any used chassis. |

| I have been racing 4 cycles for 25 plus years----I am currently on a 2010 tony kart----just moved the seat 1-3/4 inches to the left and spaced off the seat stay on the right---plenty of clearance to run the clutch inboard drive on my world formulas and my animals----easy to convert back to run 2 cycle anytime as i leave the inboard sprocket carrier and add another for 2 cycle-----I have set up 100 karts for this if I've done one------My packages have won over 35 national championships and still counting----Terry Nash---- |

| I didn't have to do anything to my Arrow AX9-4S. Again, the 4S is designed for inboard drive 4-strokes like the WF. All I had to do was fir the seat and bolt on the motor. No issues with clearance, and no modifications. If you want a no-hassle frame, this is an option that's worked great for me. |

My personal karts are a Margay 4.11 and an Arrow AX9 4S,both 4 cycle karts. The Margay is a learning experience for me,getting close but much more sensitive than the Arrow that is rock solid and makes me look good!
I recently installed a WF on a customers Birel AR30,very easy install,I believe this frame is also marketed as an Easy Kart. _________________ I breathe ,therefore,I race |

Thanks Bernie. I've been looking for any chassis that will work all winter long, but no luck. Seems these older arrow chassis are hard to come by or I don't know the right places to look.
Thanks for everyone's help in my learning curve. |

Sent them an email about 30 mins ago to see if they had anything, since they came up in my search for an arrow chassis. Hopefully they have an option within my budget or close to it.
Thanks. |
